Before engaging with Nodo, Evino was maintaining a more conservative and traditional ecommerce strategy that limited their mobile exposure. Evino sought out and connected with Nodo as a technological partner to create an innovative approach for delivering a distinctly unique product that encompassed the journey and experience of purchasing wines by wine lovers.
With this goal in mind, our challenge was to construct a new consumption experience while collaborating with the Evino staff, which produced a well outlined mobile app enabling users to join and access the Evino Club, and to purchase the wines they enjoy.
Our team executed the design, development and product management to produce and launch the first mobile ecommerce application for buying Brazilian wines. The platform presented an intuitive experience, was easily accessible and quickly became a favorite among app store users, setting the standard for other emerging competitors in the Latin American markets.
The result was a pleasing and inventive consumer experience that rose above competitors, won numerous awards and propelled Evino’s expansion throughout Brazil and Latin America. In the first year alone, the app resulted in a 30% increase in the company’s sales. In addition to attracting new crowds, an array of clients completely migrated to the mobile version, and, as a result, Evino’s apps have been listed among the 10 Best Apps in the Apple & Google Stores.
